Taylor Davis

President
Taylor Davis

Taylor Davis is the President at NHE, Inc., with responsibility for leading the Executive Team and NHE’s five Business Units: Affordable Property Management, Conventional Property Management, Association Management, Service Coordination and Development.

At the age of 13, Taylor spent his summers and many weekends working on-site at elderly communities as part of his family’s business, NHE, Inc. He began working full-time for NHE in 1995, and since that time Taylor has held numerous positions with the Company such as Community Manager, Regional Property Manager, Comptroller, Vice President of Operations, and now President.

In his current role, Taylor leads a team of over 450 employees to focus on business objectives, develop strategic partnerships, establish standard setting initiatives and create a stable business environment for NHE and the properties it manages.

NHE’s roots are in the Affordable Property Management area. Taylor led the Company to start the Association Management Business Unit in 1998, the Conventional Property Management Business Unit in 2001, and the Service Coordination Business Unit in 2007.

Taylor is also a partner in several real estate ventures and development entities. He has expertise in acquiring and disposing of assets, tax-credit financing and other development and financing activities.

Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Taylor is a member of First Baptist Church Greenville and is currently Chair of the Property Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of CommunityWorks Carolina.

Taylor lives in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife Lisa and their two sons. When not working, Taylor likes to travel and listen to live music.

Patricia Sherman

Senior Vice President, Affordable & Service Coordination
Patricia Sherman

Patricia Sherman is Senior Vice President of the Affordable Property Management Business Unit and the Service Coordination Business Unit at NHE, Inc.

Prior to joining NHE, Inc. in 2001, Patty worked in senior level positions for SHMI/EHDOC, a nationally recognized Affordable Housing Property Management Company. Notable is her three years as Director of Supportive Services and Regional Property Manager where she was responsible for a portfolio located in the Northeastern part of Unites States. During her tenure there she improved financial stability, marketing and maintenance of the properties, while also directing Service Coordinators throughout the US to help residents maintain independent living longer. She was able to renew grants, extend programs and, when necessary, get operational funds increased to add Service Coordinator Programs at managed properties.

In her current role at NHE, Patty leads a team of over 120 employees in both business units. In the Affordable Business Unit, her team focuses on enhancing the quality of lives of persons with disabilities and chronic mental illness, seniors and families by maintaining properties at the highest standards. In the Service Coordination Business Unit, her team focuses on the mission of helping low income senior and disabled residents to age in place. The scope includes working with boards, owners and developers in creating service options for residents and families and following the NHE Service Coordinator Business Unit’s brand promise of investing in meaningful relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes

Throughout her many years with NHE, she has played a key role in the successful growth of the Company. Patty is an expert in the Yardi enterprise software system NHE uses and often leads implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. She has a track record for maintaining long term relationships with property owners, residents, industry and regulatory partners alike. She has extensive experience in turning around distressed properties. Improving REAC Physical Inspection and Management Review Scores are natural for her and her team. She and her team prepare operational and capital budgets, implement budget reductions, write business plans, obtain rent increases, prepare and analyzed rent comparability studies and create Reserve for Replacement Plans. She has a strong knowledge of the HUD Secure Online System and has been a resource for others outside the Company in using it.

Patty gained her Bachelors of Arts degree at University of South Carolina in Aiken with a major in Sociology. In 2012 Patty was honored with State Meeting Coordinator of the Year Award by SAHMA.

Patty lives in Lexington, SC with her husband Kent and their two children. When not working, Patty likes to spend time with her family.

Pat Fountain

Vice President, Operations
Pat Fountain

Pat Fountain is the Vice President of Operations at NHE. His responsibilities include overseeing Administration, Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Business Services and Risk Management for the company.

Bringing more than 30 years of HR and Operations leadership to the company, Pat has experience with companies in manufacturing, automotive and staffing industries. Prior to joining NHE, Pat worked for S.B. Phillips Company where he was Vice President of Operations.

Pat earned his Master of Human Resource Development degree from Clemson University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Winthrop University.

Pat lives in Greenville, SC with his wife Barb and their daughter. When not working or spending time with family, Pat enjoys running, biking, hiking and playing golf.

Eric Kohorn

Vice President, Association Management
Eric Kohorn

Eric Kohorn is Vice President of Association Management at NHE, Inc. with responsibility for leading the Association Management Business Unit.

With over 13 years of experience in property management, Eric previously worked for FirstService Residential as a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM). He began his property management career in 2006 as an on-site manager at a large active adult community, and progressed in responsibility to Regional Director.

As Regional Director, Eric was responsible for ensuring quality service to over 30 communities, overseeing seven community managers and 20+ support staff. He has experience managing a variety of communities, including active adult, high-rise, resort, and single-family home communities. With NHE, he and his team serve nearly 60 single-family, condominium and town home communities.

While new to NHE, Eric’s vision for the Association Management Business Unit is to continue to set the industry standard in the region for excellent customer service even while expanding its footprint. Eric also intends to bring operational efficiencies and unrivaled value to communities served by NHE.

Although Eric is involved in many community service organizations in his spare time, his life mainly revolves around his fiancé and Jacksonville Jaguars football.

Cindy Lollis

Vice President, Finance
Cindy Lollis

Cindy is the Vice President of Finance at NHE, Inc. and is responsible for overseeing the Affordable, Association, Conventional, and Corporate accounting teams.

Cindy joined NHE in 2013 as Conventional Business Unit Controller. She was subsequently promoted to Corporate Controller before being named to her current role as Vice President of Finance in 2019. Prior to joining NHE, Cindy worked in property management accounting for two decades at U.S. Shelter, Insignia, and AIMCO with progressive roles ranging from Bookkeeper and Real Estate Accountant, to Assistant Controller and finally Director of Real Estate Accounting.

She earned her Associate degree in Accounting from Greenville Technical College and also attended Furman University.

Cindy lives in Easley, SC with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Leslie Register

Vice President, Conventional
Leslie Register

As Vice President of Conventional Property Management for NHE, Leslie leads a team and portfolio of 35 market rate communities representing 7000 units and growing.

With over two decades of experience in multi-family property management operations, Leslie’s progressive leadership approach is focused on strategic planning, collaboration and driving results. Her experience and expertise with various asset classes from stabilized garden products to new construction lease ups of both garden, mid and high rise communities has led her to covering territories throughout Florida, North and South Carolina and Georgia.

Prior to joining NHE, she was a Regional Vice President with RKW Residential, where she played a key role in their initial growth in the Southeast market. She also spent four years as a Regional Vice President with Equity Lifestyle Properties, where she led a large land lease portfolio that included managing 10 direct reports over three departments with 350 plus employees.

Leslie is a graduate of St. Petersburg College, studied Speech Communications at University of South Florida and maintains a key designation as Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is a South Carolina Property Manager.

Leslie lives in North Myrtle Beach, SC and is an active volunteer in her community with Sea Haven Youth Crisis Center, and Grand Strand SCORE. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in Florida with her family and playing tennis, golf and blogging.

Angie Waller

Vice President, Affordable
Angie Waller

As Vice President of Affordable Property Management for NHE, Angie oversees a team and portfolio that has grown steadily to more than 90 quality, low-income and affordable housing communities representing over 4,300 units.

With more than 35 years of housing experience, Angie previously worked with Cambridge Management, where she oversaw a portfolio of 42 properties in five states prior to joining NHE as Director of Affordable Property Management. She was promoted to Vice President in May 2023.

During her career, Angie has held positions of progressive responsibility including Regional Vice President, VP of Affordable Housing, VP of HUD Compliance, and Director of Maintenance Operations with various Southeastern property management organizations.

She has experience with market rate, HUD, LIHTC, Bond and Tax Credit properties, and has overseen lease-up of new properties, along with conversion and renovation of tax credit properties to market-rate assets.

A long-standing member and leader in both the National and Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Associations (SAHMA and NAHMA), Angie holds numerous designations including Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), Fair Housing Compliance (FHC), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), Blended Compliance Designation (BCD), and National Affordable Housing Professional, Executive Level (NAHP-E).

She resides in Moncks Corner, SC with her husband Bob.

Our Senior Management Team

Alicia Abrahams

Director of Business Services
Alicia Abrahams

Alicia serves as Director of Business Services for NHE providing oversight of various aspects of project management and creative design support needs for all business units. After having served as a Lease Up Regional Manager and a Community Manager with NHE since joining the organization in 2018, she was promoted to Director of Business Services and Marketing. After a successful 10-year career in retail sales, Alicia began her career in property management as a Leasing Consultant with Bell Partners Inc. in 2007. Starting as a Leasing Consultant, Alicia quickly became enamored with the fast-paced, high-energy demands of being a lease up specialist at properties coming online. She successfully served in that capacity at multiple communities before joining NHE.

Alicia holds a South Carolina Realtor’s license, loves outdoor activities and relishes time spent with family and close friends. A self-acknowledged “foodie”, she is always game to check out the newest dining spots or any “known just to locals” favorites.

Brad Alexander

Senior Regional Maintenance Manager
Brad Alexander

Brad Alexander is a Senior Regional Maintenance Manager in NHE’s Conventional Business Unit. Brad joined NHE after more than seven years with a regional property management organization serving the Midwest, first as a Maintenance Supervisor and in 2017 as a Regional Maintenance Manage. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Brad began his career with Boston Financial Group on its grounds and maintenance team in 1996 before joining Ledic Management in 2001 as Maintenance Supervisor of its properties. He joined NHE in 2021.
Brad holds designations including Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT), and multiple certifications from the EPA in his areas of work. His team serves his communities by emphasizing teamwork, teaching and proactive maintenance, and is responsible for all facets of property maintenance, repair and upkeep.

A resident of Simpsonville, S.C., Brad enjoys building cars and motorcycles in his spare time, and spending time with family.

Mary Black

Regional Property Manager
Mary Black

Mary Black is a Regional Property Manager with NHE’s Affordable Business Unit, supervising properties across South Carolina. A native of Winnsboro, SC, she has over 10 years of experience in property management and real estate prior to joining NHE. Mary has worked with a range of communities in optimizing operations and ensuring compliance.

With experience in both real estate sales and property management, Mary is a savvy and experienced leader focused on teamwork, teaching, and leading teams and communities. Responsible for all facets of her communities’ operations, she keeps open lines of communication and builds strong relationships with both colleagues and customers to optimize team and property performance.

A lover of travel, experiencing new cultures, hiking and relaxing on beaches, Mary most enjoys being with loved ones. She volunteers time at church and with Fairfield County Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.

Kamaryn Brenneman

Association Accounting Supervisor
Kamaryn Brenneman

Kamaryn is Association Accounting Supervisor for NHE, Inc. and is responsible for overseeing and managing the Association Management division’s accounting teams and requirements.

Kamaryn joined NHE in 2019 as an Accounting Specialist before being promoted to her current role in 2021. Prior to joining NHE, Kamaryn worked in accounting and bookkeeping roles with both the Greenville Drive minor league baseball team and with EMU International, an international non-profit organization.

A native of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, she graduated from Bob Jones University in 2015 with a B.S. in Accounting) and lives in Greenville with her two dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing games, and a wide range of outdoor activities.

Wanda Cain

Regional Property Manager
Wanda Cain

Wanda Cain is a Regional Property Manager with NHE’s Affordable Business Unit, supervising more than a dozen properties across South Carolina. These include HAP, PRAC, and LIHTC properties concentrating on Elderly and Chronically Mentally Ill housing needs.

Wanda joined NHE as a Community Manager in 2011 and was later promoted to Senior Community Manager before being named Regional Property Manager in 2018.

Passionately focused on teamwork, teaching and leading, Wanda’s teams are responsible for all facets of community operations, from finance to maintenance. Team scores for Management and Occupancy Reviews, REAC and State Housing Audits are kept in excellent order, with open lines of communication and strong owner relationships. She is fully licensed with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

In her spare time, Wanda can be found reading her Kindle at her Aiken, SC home she shares with her husband, a former Marine. She enjoys working in the yard and the beach. Born in Pennsylvania, Wanda enjoys helping with Special Olympics and annual community food drives.

Caroline Calder

Human Resources Director
Caroline Calder

As Human Resources Director at NHE, Caroline is responsible for overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource functions. This includes workforce planning, recruiting, staffing, employee relations, employment, development/training, benefits and more.

Caroline brings over 20 years of experience in human resources, employee relations, management, staffing, sales, recruiting, and training development to the company. Calder comes to NHE from S.B. Phillips where she served as Human Resources Director.

She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Outside of work, Calder enjoys spending time with her husband, creating art and spending time outdoors running and hiking. Calder is active in the community and has served in numerous leadership roles for GSHRM, Junior League of Greenville (where she served on the Board of Directors) and currently volunteers with the Metropolitan Arts Council and The Center for the Creative Arts in Greenville.

Clifton Davis

IT Manager
Clifton Davis

Clifton is IT Manager of NHE, Inc., responsible for oversight of company mobile devices, Yardi software, VOIP, web administrator, coordinating end-user support, and various other platforms at NHE.

Clifton started out in maintenance in 2011 before moving into an IT role handling mobile device management and later into Yardi database management. Clifton officially assumed IT leadership in 2013 after earning A+ and Network+ certifications, taking a leading role in roll out of RentCafé and assisting with multiple Yardi upgrades.

Prior to joining NHE, Clifton worked as Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef in top restaurants from Myrtle Beach and Atlanta to Las Vegas. He holds associate degrees from The Culinary Institute of America and Horry-Georgetown Technical College, and readily applies his culinary creativity and passion for service excellence to his role serving NHE internal and external customers.

Clifton lives in Greenville, SC with his wife Deborah, and enjoys working in the yard, vegetable gardening, days out on the lake … and of course, cooking.

Minnie Davis

Director of Special Projects
Minnie Davis

As NHE’s Director of Special Projects, Minnie is a veteran in residential property management with over 30 years of experience. She joined NHE, Inc. in 2010 as a Community Manager and was promoted multiple times to assume the position of Regional Property Manager in February 2015. With a keen eye for detail and a desire to help teams work effectively and efficiently, Minnie is a gifted fit to lead NHE special projects.

Minnie is a former Community Manager of the Year, has earned the Property of the Year Award, and has been honored with NHE’s Golden Hammer Award for Outstanding Service. She holds Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Property Manager License (PM), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) and Certified Public Housing Manager (C-PHM) certifications/designations, and in her leisure time enjoys family and friends, water activities, going to the beach, bowling and traveling.

Ashley Fink

Ashley Fink

Ashley Fink is a Regional Property Manager with NHE’s Conventional Business Unit, supervising 6 properties in South Carolina. She joined NHE in 2024, bringing over 12 years of conventional property management experience to the role.

Ashley began as a leasing director and gradually worked her way up to being a Regional Property Manager for 5 communities. Her expertise lies in organization, communication, and customer service, and she received 100% customer satisfaction ratings in her previous role. She is also passionate about leadership, and she directed a large group of leasing staff in general tasks, special projects, and ensured compliance with organizational standards. A friendly, goal-oriented person, her goal is to approach each day with enthusiasm, expertise and dedication.

Outside of work, Ashley is passionate about interior design and home projects. She also enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors, specifically in the mountains or at the beach.

Sean Frey

Regional Property Manager
Sean Frey

Sean Frey is a Regional Property Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he joined NHE in 2023 and supervises multiple properties across the Carolinas and Georgia concentrating on HUD, RD and LIHTC properties. He has broad-based experience in property management at all levels, as well as construction, facility maintenance and public safety.

An honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy, Sean’s diverse career included time as a police officer in Upstate New York, a New York Department of Corrections officer, construction manager and plant operations director before beginning his property management career — at which he deploys the management, operational, leadership, and communications skills that serve him well to this day.

With nearly 15 years of experience in all aspects of affordable property management, Sean is passionately focused on teamwork, continuous improvement and leading teams and communities. He has worked with property management groups from New York to Ohio, overseeing thousands of rental units while holding positions of progressive responsibility before coming south to join NHE. He is CAM certified and holds multiple certifications and accreditations in the industry.

An avid boater and woodworker, Sean and his wife live in Lancaster, SC.

Kayla Gantt

Kayla Gantt

Kayla Gantt is a Regional Manager with NHE’s Conventional Business Unit. She joined the team in 2024 after 12 years of residential property management experience.

Kayla started her RPM career in 2012 as a leasing consultant. Throughout the next 6 years, she rapidly worked her way up to being a Senior Regional Director, overseeing garden style, mid-rise and high-rise communities within the multi-family and student housing space. In total, she has provided leadership to properties in 23 markets spanning 9 states.

She is most passionate about mentorship. She has spent her career leading teams and spearheading training summits, earning her a range of awards in the process.

Kayla lives with her husband Max, 3 sons and dog in Upstate SC. When Kayla is not working, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, photography and visiting National Parks with her family.

Ashley Glenn

Quality Assurance Supervisor
Ashley Glenn

Ashley Glenn is a Service Coordination Supervisor for NHE. She joined the company after a storied career of 17 years in Aging Services.

A native of Owensboro, KY, Ashley spent the bulk of her early working years as a Case Manager and Care Transition Coach for her local Area Agency on Aging. After a brief stint as a Quality Improvement Advisor in her local hospital, she joined NHE in 2017 as a Resident Service Coordinator, where she developed programs for affordable communities. Though her experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, her favorite part about her job is having the ability to work with a dynamic team that harnesses creativity to promote independence and quality of life for everyone they serve. Her experience, combined with her B.A. in Social Work and M.A. in Business Services have allowed her to build a strong foundation in both the administrative and clinical aspects of aging services.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, exercising, reading, and traveling.

Alissa Heater

HOA Operations Manager
Alissa Heater

Alissa Heater serves as the Operations Manager for HOA. She joined the company in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing with her over ten years of extensive experience in customer service.

Her previous positions include roles such as a Purchasing Manager, Ministry Assistant, and owner of a small business. Alissa has consistently demonstrated a strong focus on efficiency and enjoys streamlining workflows through creative problem-solving. In her current role as Operations Manager, she plays a vital role in implementing effective processes to assist the HOA team in supporting over 80 local communities, encompassing nearly 10,000 homes.

In her personal life, Alissa is dedicated to her family, spending time with her three sons and husband. She enjoys a wide range of activities, including hiking, photography, baking, reading, and playing board games with her family. Additionally, she is an active volunteer at her church, assisting with their graphic design needs and teaching a Bible study class.

Sandy Hinson

Sandy Hinson

Sandy Hinson is a Regional Property Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit. She has been with NHE for six years and supervises multiple properties across South Carolina, concentrating on Elderly and Chronically Mentally Ill housing needs.

With two decades of service in the Affordable industry, Sandy’s career progression has produced increasing experience and knowledge in diverse programs across the Southeast. Sandy came to NHE from Winn Residential where she was a Regional Property Manager for SC with over 1670 units.

Sandy’s teams serve her communities with teamwork, teaching and leading, and are responsible for all facets of community operations, from finance to maintenance. Team scores for Management and Occupancy Reviews, REAC and State Housing Audits are kept in excellent order, with open lines of communication and strong owner relationships. Sandy holds multiple designations including Housing Credit Certified Professional, Fair Housing Coordinator, Affordable housing Manager, and Certified Professional of Occupancy.

An avid reader and movie buff, Sandy lives in Lugoff, SC with her husband and daughter. She loves yardwork, fishing and hunting, travel, and supporting such organizations as Community Food Drives and the March of Dimes.

Andrew Hudson

Andrew Hudson

Andrew Hudson is a Regional Property Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit. A South Carolina native, he joined NHE in 2021 and supervises multiple properties across South Carolina concentrating on HUD, RD and LIHTC properties.
Andrew brings over 10 years of experience in Affordable property management, and is passionately focused on teamwork, teaching, and leading teams and communities. Responsible for all facets of community operations, from finance and operations to maintenance and marketing, Andrew ensures that property and personnel audits and reviews are kept in excellent order, with open lines of communication and strong owner relationships. He is a licensed Property Manager in South Carolina and has completed multiple professional training programs.
Active in his church and a volunteer with multiple non-profits and charities, Andrew and his family live in Laurens, SC.

Hannah Kalinichenko

Director of Marketing
Hannah Kalinichenko

As Director of Marketing for NHE, Hannah is responsible for developing and executing NHE’s marketing and communications strategies. She directs a team focused on building profitable growth for NHE through strategic planning, digital marketing, communications, events and business development support, among other areas.

Hannah has more than a decade of diverse sales and marketing experience in the multifamily industry, insurance and consumer goods, including roles of progressive growth with RentPath, Parcel Pending and Zumper. A graduate of North Greenville University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, she is professionally affiliated with the Upper State Apartment Association, and the North Carolina and Western North Carolina apartment associations.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys cross stitching, hiking and kayaking with her husband and two dogs, and is a house plant enthusiast.

Joseph Kass

Development Manager
Joseph Kass

Joseph Kass is Development Manager at NHE, managing all aspects of community development involvement from site selection and contract negotiation to construction management and final upfit. He joined NHE Development in late 2017 from SC State Housing where he served as a Multifamily Underwriter.

Joseph has been a pivotal contributor to NHE Development at a time of rapid growth, managing multiple building projects simultaneously across the NHE geographic footprint.

A native of Easley, Joseph lives in Greenville and volunteers at Soteria, a non-profit which assists the formerly incarcerated to successfully re-enter society and reduce recidivism, at which he teaches financial literacy classes. He enjoys biking, hiking, playing musical instruments including guitar and piano, and loves to try his hand at home improvement projects.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Joseph and wife Amber have 3 pets.

Brittany Kelly

Regional Property Manager
Brittany Kelly

Brittany is a Regional Manager in NHE’s Conventional Property Management Business Unit. Brittany initially joined NHE in 2018 before relocating out of state; she returned to South Carolina in late 2019 and rejoined NHE at that time.

Brittany joined NHE in August 2018 from EOS Real Estate Group and its successor company Steadfast Management. While with those organizations she held positions of progressive growth and responsibility including Leasing Consultant and Assistant Property Manager. At NHE, Brittany has served as a multi-site Leasing Consultant before being named Lease-Up Specialist then Regional Manager.

Brittany holds a B.A. degree in Secondary Education from USC-Upstate, as well as her South Carolina property management license. A native of Tuscaloosa, AL, Brittany lives in Greenville and volunteers with FUSE, her church’s youth ministry program. She enjoys snowboarding, roller skating, travel and University of Alabama football, as well as spending time with family.

Charon Lamar

Charon Lamar

Charon Lamar is a Regional Property Manager with NHE’s Affordable Business Unit, supervising 7 properties across the Carolinas. She joined NHE in 2024 after over 20 years of experience in the property management industry, where she has spent the majority of her time on tax credit and distressed properties.

Originally from California, her career brought her to the east coast in 2005, where she spent the next 19 years managing properties in Massachusetts, Georgia, and most recently, Florida. She was named Property Manager of the Year by both Ambling Management and the Apartment Association of Greater Augusta, an organization which she served as president of for two years. She has significant experience in all facets of property management, but her passion is in leadership, as many of the properties she has taken over have required her to rebuild the teams through coaching and events. Her goal is to provide exceptional customer service, great leadership and to always make a positive impact.

Outside of work, Charon’s favorite activity is spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

Karen Majzner

Accounting Manager
Karen Majzner

Karen Majzner is Assistant Controller at NHE, responsible for assisting the Controller in overseeing all property accounting functions. She joined NHE in 2021 from Omega Property Management in Maple Grove, Minnesota where she served as Controller for 19 years. Previously she has served as Controller at United Ministries of Greenville, SC and for Miracle Hill Ministries in Greenville, SC.

A native of Greenville, SC Karen is married and loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and their Australian Shepherd Rusty and is an avid fan of the Clemson Tiger football team. She also loves to cook, read, and play board games with family and friends. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bob Jones University and earned her M.B.A. from Clemson University.

Kayla McCluney

Kayla McCluney

As Senior Association Manager for NHE, Kayla is responsible for overseeing the management of multiple communities across the Carolinas from NHE’s newly established office in Charlotte, N.C.

Kayla joined the NHE team 4 years ago, holding the titles of Community Manager, Association Manager, and most recently Onboarding Manager before her promotion to Senior Association Manager. Kayla is a licensed Property Manager with over 5 years of experience in multi-family management and was named Community Manager of the Year in 2022.

Kayla is heavily involved with her church through the worship team and youth departments. She enjoys interior decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Ryonne Moe

Ryonne Moe

Ryonne Moe is a Regional Property Manager with NHE’s Conventional Business Unit, where he oversees 5 properties along the coast. A graduate of the University of New York at Old Westbury with a B.A. in Communication and Media Studies, Ryonne brings more than 15 years of experience in property management to the role, having cultivated a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for providing exceptional service to residents.

Over the course of his career, Ryonne has successfully managed over 30 properties in the southeast, including in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. A servant leader, Ryonne is committed to mentoring and developing his teammates, aiming to prepare them for the next phase of their careers.

Outside of work, Ryonne enjoys going to the gym and attending sporting events.

Dawn Mooty

Dawn Mooty

Dawn Mooty is a Regional Property Manager for NHE’s Affordable team. She joined the company after over 35 years of asset management and operations experience.

After she graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Dawn’s storied career brought her to Texas and Georgia, finally landing her in Summerville, SC. She has overseen all aspects of property management for tens of thousands of apartment homes, including conventional, affordable, student housing, senior housing, and new developments. She loves being able to play a part in providing high-quality affordable housing to families and seniors.

When Dawn is not working or taking care of her dog Finn, she and her husband like to spend as much time as possible at the beach.

Joel Morrow

Regional Property Manager
Joel Morrow

Joel Morrow is a Regional Property Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit with nearly a decade of experience in property management operations and leadership.

He joined NHE in 2023 after holding roles of progressive responsibility with such Southeastern organizations as Coordinated Services Management, DGA Residential and Community Management Corporation. Those roles provided Joel with experience in property management, operations, strategic planning, compliance, and marketing of affordable housing, senior housing and public housing communities, along with exposure to construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation of communities.

Joel emphasizes teamwork, teaching and leading, and is responsible for all facets of community operations. Audits, reviews and compliance requirements are kept in excellent order, as are open lines of communication and strong owner relationships. He holds multiple designations including Housing Credit Certified Professional, Certified Professional of Occupancy, and Property Manager in Charge.

In his spare time, he enjoys family time as well as traveling, sporting events, home improvement projects, and church.

Diana Nelson

Diana Nelson

Diana serves as NHE’s Assistant Controller and provides the organization with more than 20 years of professional accounting experience for organizations across Upstate South Carolina. A native of the Palmetto State, Diana’s deep financial and accounting talents stem from her career working in a range of industries and roles, including time with AIMCO, Carroll Management and most recently with a regional staffing organization.

A graduate of Lander University with a B.S. in Accounting, Diana is an experienced and savvy leader and a strong communicator, and is used to working with teams to get the job done quickly and correctly. A member of Mauldin First Baptist Church, Diana enjoys reading, gardening and the great outdoors in her spare time, especially relaxing at the beach and lake.

Vince Viet Nguyen

Director of Service Coordination
Vince Viet Nguyen

Vince is a resident service coordinator supervisor with NHE, and supervises a team located largely in the Central and Western time zones. Vince joined NHE in 2013 and has held multiple roles within the company.

Vince began working in social services at an assisted living Community in Morgan Hill, California, later determining that his calling rested in helping support seniors and those less fortunate in affordable housing. Vince started working as a service coordinator at a property where residents predominantly spoke Vietnamese, using his bilingual skills to help residents receive benefits to age in place. He is also a certified Washington State Community Health Worker to help assist him in his career in social services.

Vince loves his job and the team that he works with. He remains a happy, positive individual that ensures his team is provided the support they deserve while providing optimal service and work to his department with a smile.

Vince lives in the beautiful Evergreen State with his husband, 3 dogs and many animals on his urban farm. Widely traveled, he enjoys family, animals, painting, rock hounding, jewelry making, the outdoors and cooking foods from around the world. He is an active volunteer with soup kitchens, AIDS walks and homeless shelters.

Kaurie Pitts

Kaurie Pitts

Kaurie Pitts is our Director of Association Management, overseeing management of multiple communities across the Upstate region of South Carolina and our Association Managers. NHE provides turn-key and customized management services to some 80 communities across Upstate South Carolina. Kaurie joined NHE in 2018 with 6 years of prior experience in association management across South Carolina’s Upstate and Midlands regions.
Before being promoted from Senior Association Manager to Director, Kaurie spent nearly two years as an on-site community manager for a large luxury community in the Upstate. She holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation– the only international certification program designed exclusively for managers of homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives — and earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University. She lives in Powdersville, SC with her husband and children.

Tameria Smith

Tameria Smith

Tameria Smith is a Regional Property Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit, serving 11 properties in the southeast. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S in Business Administration and a B.A. in Africana Studies. She joined NHE in 2024 after over 15 years of property management and leadership experience.

Tameria has been a leasing agent, assistant manager, and a property manager throughout her career. She has been praised for her managerial skills, receiving a multitude of awards including Manager of Year, Excellence in Overall Customer Satisfaction, and Zero Employee Turnover. Her expertise lies in training new employees, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Projects, Housing Choice Vouchers and Rental Assistance Demonstration units.

In her free time, Tameria enjoys reading, writing, watching documentaries, being in nature (especially the beach!) and spending quality time with family and friends.

Blake Stengel

Talent Acquisition Manager
Blake Stengel

Blake currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager for NHE, focusing on recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, managing the company HRIS system, overseeing employee training systems, along with other HR-related responsibilities.  Blake also oversees NHE’s Internship program and Apprentice program.  Blake previously served as HR Generalist before taking his current role.

Blake brings extensive leadership and HR experience to the NHE team.  His experience includes; Assistant Store Manager for Lowe’s Home Improvement, HR and Scheduling Director for Chick-fil-A, and a full-desk Construction Recruiter for Carolina Search Group, helping general contractors across the Southeast recruit top talent.

Blake graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business Management.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys deer hunting, Clemson football, trips to the beach, and spending time with his wife and two little girls. He is also an active member of First Baptist Church in Simpsonville.

Robinson Villa

Robinson Villa

Robinson Villa is Development Director at NHE, overseeing all development activities from site selection and contract negotiation to construction management and lease up. He joined NHE in 2012 from CoStar Group in Washington, D.C. where he served as a Research Associate. Robinson previously spent a year as an Intern for NHE prior to joining full time.

Robinson holds his South Carolina Real Estate Broker’s License and is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), serving on the Innovation in Housing Council. Additionally, Robinson serves on the Housing Advisory Committee for the United Way of the Piedmont. Robinson is also a member of the Affordable Housing Coalition of South Carolina and North Carolina Housing Coalition.

Robinson lives in Chapin, SC with his wife Cameron. When not working or spending time with family, Robinson enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and reading.

Michael Wilson

Regional Maintenance Manager
Michael Wilson

Michael Wilson is a Regional Maintenance Manager in NHE’s Affordable Business Unit. Michael joined NHE in 2018 and has more than 30 years of professional experience as a commercial contractor and supervisor before joining NHE.
Michael’s experience and expertise is broad, including plumbing, carpentry, sheet rock installation, HVAC repair, electrical and mechanical trouble shooting. His professional certifications include universal EPA certifications, water-based fire protection systems, and as a South Carolina-certified Pool Operator.
His team serves his communities by emphasizing teamwork, teaching and proactive maintenance, and is responsible for all facets of property maintenance, repair and upkeep. Since joining NHE, he has been recognized as the Affordable Business Unit’s Maintenance Professional of the Year, as well as presented with NHE’s Commitment & Initiative Award.

A native of Dunn, N.C., Michael serves his community as a volunteer with Usher Ministry, as president of Men’s Ministry, as a pastoral assistant, and by providing maintenance and repair services to New Birth Ministries in Eastover, S.C.

Yvette Young

Service Coordination Supervisor
Yvette Young

Yvette joined the NHE team in 2019 and serves as Supervisor for the Service Coordination Department, supporting resident service coordinators in the East coast region. Yvette earned both her Master’s in Education-School Counseling, and her Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware.

Yvette has over 13 years of professional experience working in Human Services, Education and Healthcare, with past professional experience including grant management, program management and oversight, program implementation, human resources, intensive case management, care coordination, education services and community-based prevention services.

A small-town girl with a big heart, Yvette was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and moved to Greenville, SC with her family in 2016. Her passion is helping the underprivileged by motivating and supporting them to achieve their full potential. She serves on the Greenville County School District’s School Improvement Committee and volunteers at two Strengthening Families Programs. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and a proud mother of three amazing children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, listening to live jazz and blues, taking nature walks, and spending time with family and friends.
